The goal of CatholicMatch is to bring as many single Catholics together as possible to form lasting friendships and fulfill the Catholic Sacrament of Marriage. To make this possible, we provide a number of tools designed to give you the opportunity to meet people you otherwise would be unlikely to meet.
Tools to Find Other Catholics
Matching - Designed by respected Catholic psychologist Mark Friedrick, our matching feature focuses on areas where couples in long-lasting, successful couples do well to agree on, from interests to values and vision, along with sexuality and communication.
Searching - For those with specific traits in mind, our search feature includes options to view those meeting the criteria that you specify, from the basics like age and location to the finer details like education level, political views, drinking/smoking habits, liturgical preferences and more.
Newest Members For You - All too often, connections are missed due to preconceived notions about what height or what hair color our match MUST have or a connection is delayed because one's match lives one mile outside of the distance preferences set in searches. This feature helps highlight those who might have otherwise been missed by showing those who are just outside of one's preferences.
Communication Features
Messages - CatholicMatch provides a safe and secure place to converse with other single Catholics without the need to share sensitive offsite contact information that can't be easily unsent. This allows you to protect your privacy and easily end any conversation that isn't going as planned.
Likes - If you see someone you like, but don't have the time or aren't feeling confident to contact them just yet, press the heart icon on any profile to let them know that you like them. This also saves their profile for easy access in the future.
Safety Features
CatholicMatch scans all member accounts for signs and traits that indicate that someone may not be who they claim to be or that they attempted to join with malicious intent. Those identified as being malicious are removed and anyone in contact with the removed member is alerted of the action.
