How can I cancel my account?

Congratulations! We're so thrilled that you've met someone and we can't wait to hear all about it!

If the relationship is new, we recommend updating your profile status to "inactive". This hides your profile from search results, pauses new match suggestions, and allows you to keep your profile contents, past communication, preferences, and eligibility for discounted renewal rates just in case you find that you need to return. If things continue to go well, you can always remove your account in the future. Click here to make your profile inactive.

If you plan to return after a short break, we recommend making your profile inactive instead of removing it altogether. This way, you can avoid the hassle of re-creating your profile and resaving your preferences, while also retaining your eligibility for our best discounts while preventing others from seeing your profile in their search results.
