If you plan to take a temporary break from CatholicMatch, updating your profile status to Inactive can save you from the hassle of creating a brand new account and setting each of your settings from scratch when you return.
A profile status of Active allows you to access all features of CatholicMatch based on your subscription status. A profile status of Inactive prevents your profile from appearing in search results listings, pauses your matching feature, and restricts your access to all features of CatholicMatch with the exception of your account and settings pages. It does not completely hide your profile from views or affect your subscription, so if members have previously matched, viewed, or messaged you, your profile can still be found.
An Inactive profile lasts for 90 days and then it will automatically revert back to Active.
Free/basic members can change from active to inactive and back once every 30 days. Premium members can change back-and-forth once a week.
